This isn't the first time we've heard of John Cena doing great things for other people.  It's always great to hear the positive stories that come out, even in the midst of tragedy.  John Cena made one dream come true... for a young Ukraine refugee.

Meet Misha

Misha is a Ukrainian refugee who has Down's Syndrome.  With the unrest in Ukraine, he and his family had to leave their home due to Russia's invasion.  This left Misha confused and stressed.  Misha is 19-years-old, but he is non-verbal.  When faced with having to leave his home, his mother told him they were traveling to find John Cena, who is Misha's hero.

Misha's mother's tactic gave him some peace about the situation, but that wasn't the end of the story.  Somehow, word got back to John Cena.  When Cena heard the story, he became a real-life hero.  He traveled to Amsterdam to meet Misha in person.  He spent time with Misha, who seemed to have a pretty powerful effect on Cena too. See the video below.

Simple Acts of Kindness

It's a beautiful story, and always wonderful to see celebrities who go the extra mile for those people in need.  John Cena said he had time off, at the right time.  He spent time building blocks and eating cake with Misha.  He even hooked Misha up with a hat and shirt.  Sometimes it takes just simple acts of kindness to change a person's life.  And we love John Cena for this true show of love and humility.

Like Cena said, "Persistence can lead to joy, even through the toughest of times." And this family is definitely the true definition of persistence.

Again, it's not the first time we have seen amazing acts of generosity and kindness from Cena.  In 2019, he matched a one million dollar donation to a veterans charity. And then there's this kid who saved his sister's life from remembering how to help someone who's choking from watching John Cena!
