After over a decade of marriage, the 'Saturday Night Live' star and his wife called it quits back in April. They have been informally separated and co-parenting their two children for "over a year" before the announcement. Thompson and Evangeline dated for four years before they tied the knot in November 2011. The pair has two young daughters.

The cutest funny duo broke up just shy of their one-year anniversary. In a video recorded for their anniversary, Chelsea captioned the post: "It is with a heavy heart to announce that we have decided together that it is best for us to take a break from our relationship right now. To be loved and adored by @jokoy has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. He renewed my faith in men, in love, in being 100% who I am, and I’ve never been more optimistic for the future."

After two years of marriage, the couple announced their split back in September. A source said Tyler's new reality series 'Selling the OC' and storylines about their relationship was the "final straw." In a public joint statement they said: "We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie."

Probably the most random relationship of the year were these two. The couple called it quits after 9 months of dating. Long distance seemed to be the deciding factor, but neither have publicly commented on the breakup.

Following his split with Kim K, Kanye dated quite a few models. Julia Fox was one we did not expect, but he put her back on our radar in the short six weeks that they dated. Long distance was once again the culprit at the time of their breakup, though Fox added that she also left at the "first sign of a red flag." When asked what exactly the red flag with Ye was, said it was "the unresolved issues that he was dealing with. It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it, or energy. I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that."

After four years of marriage, Ratajkowski filed for divorce this October. She came out as bisexual and was linked to Brad Pitt before she started dating Pete Davidson in November. Prior to their split, rumors of Sebastian cheating on Emily and her being checked out of the relationship for a long time seemed to be what broke the camel's back.

After eight years of marriage, the parents to two young daughters announced their divorce in April. Wong and Hakuta, both 39, met at a friend's wedding reception in 2010, when Hakuta was a student at Harvard Business School.

Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from the country singer in early April after 30 years of marriage. Citing "irreconcilable differences," the couple didn't live together for the last two years. A joint statement from the pair read: "It is after 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways - not with sadness, but with love in our hearts."

In February the actress and the New Jersey lawmaker split after three years of dating. The two reportedly have remained friends after their split. In 2020, Rosario said about her relationship, "It's the first time I felt like I had to be responsible about my choice of love, which is a challenging thing to do. If you fall in love, you fall in love. But there's another aspect I had to consider: what this meant in [putting] a microscope on my family and particularly on my daughter."

After nearly 20 years of marriage, the couple decided to call it quits. The couple had been separated for a “substantial period” of time before they announced their divorce in December. In a joint Instagram statement they said, "After a substantial period of separation, it is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing. We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other. Our kids are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape. We’re thankful for the space and love you grant us as we evolve and move through this transition peacefully."

The actress and NBA coach called it quits after news of Udoka allegedly having an affair with a female co-worker within the Boston Celtics organization, and was suspended as head coach of the professional basketball team. Long began dating Udoka in 2009 and the couple got engaged in 2015. They share a 10-year-old son, as well as Long's 21-year-old son from a previous relationship.
