Raccoons Attempt To Break In Georgia Sheriff’s Department
Recently, raccoons attempted to break into a Georgia Sheriff’s Department. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department shared the news of the raccoons being “apprehended.”
Staff members at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office were able to capture two “burglary suspects.” The furry culprits were trying to enter through the back employee entrance.
The lighthearted post from the sheriff’s department discusses the apprehension and how initially the suspects resisted capture. They have dubbed the two raccoons “Earl” and “Lee.” According to the post, the bandits will be “sentenced to a few weeks of ‘rest and rehab’ at a much more raccoon-friendly environment.”
But there are still a couple of suspects on the loose. “Rocket” and “Ma” are additional bandits on the run. If caught, they will be headed to the same rehab as “Earl” and “Lee.”
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says no staff members were injured during the incident.
