Georgia Man’s Saran Wrap Prank
According to the Peach County Sheriff’s Office, Marquie D. Taylor, 28, from Elko spent his weekend at the “Peach County Bunk & Breakfast.” Taylor was arrested after wrapping himself in saran wrap and running across the field during the Peach County High School Football game.
The Peach County Sheriff’s Office we informed it was some sort of YouTube prank. And they received a video where Taylor was being paid to perform the stunt.
Unfortunately for Taylor, he is now facing charges of trespassing and disrupting a school function.
Other Incidents
This story is just one of many incidents that are happening at high school football games in Georgia.
Back in August, a high school football game was canceled after spectators took part in a TikTok challenge that created what appeared to be a chaotic incident. The game was between Benedictine Military School and Herschel V. Jenkins High School in Savannah.
Benedictine was declared the winner of the game, as they were in the lead 42-0 in the third quarter. And this wasn’t the first time there was an issue between the two schools. The game between the two was canceled while in progress last year as well.
Cross Creek Forfeit
And locally, the Cross Creek High School football team had to forfeit their upcoming game this Friday after a brawl broke out during a game in Savannah. One player and one Savannah coach were injured during the incident.
Cross Creek was going to play Hart County for their homecoming game this week. Instead, Bulloch Academy will replace Cross Creek. Get more on that story here.
