Want to Turn your Doggy into a Painter? This is how!
Dogs can do a lot of things, but did you know amongst that long list they can also paint?
Dog and Cat Networking Agents are giving dogs a chance to create abstract masterpieces.
The event is called Doggy Davinci. It will be held at the Pawsh Place in Grovetown, Georgia from 12 pm – 2 pm.
If you can’t stay the entire time, you will be able to buy a take-home kit, pick it up, and your dog can do their painting at home.
Dog painting doesn’t require any training, it’s kind of like they just know!
A few years ago, dogs painting on TikTok were one of the many viral moments.

If you are not able to make this event at all, but still want your dog to be Doggy Van Gogh here is what you need and the steps to get it done.
What you will need for dog painting:
- Non-toxic acrylic paint
- 3-4 colors in paint – You just want to have more than one color of paint to make the painting stand out.
- Gallon sized zip-top plastic bag
- Dog’s favorite spreadable snack
- Small canvas – You can find this at any craft store, this is where the magic will happen
Now let’s let the dogs get to painting – here at the steps:
1: Squeeze the paint of each color onto the canvas.
2: Now put the canvas into the zip lock plastic bag
3: Whatever their favorite snack is, whether it’s peanut butter or whip cream, put it on the outside of the plastic bag.
4: Put the bag with the canvas still inside, on the ground, or on a surface they can reach, and let them lick away! The paint underneath will creatively spread out amongst the canvas.
5: when they are finished, remove the canvas and let it dry!
There ya go – now your doggy is a painter too!
