Here’s A Great Reason To Book A Trip To Vermont
I’ve never been to Vermont. And honestly, I’ve never had the desire or a reason to visit. That is, until now! Have you heard about the Golden Retriever Experience? This would make a trip to Vermont totally worth it for any dog lover, I think.
Golden Retriever Experience
This farm in Vermon is called Golden Dog Farm. They offer the Golden Retriever Experience. What does that mean? It’s an hour your get to “enjoy a playdate with at least 10 Butternut Goldens in the bucolic setting of Golden Dog Farm.” You can play ball, take photos, or just snuggle with all of these adorable Goldens!
It’s $75.00 per person, and $50 per child. But just reading the reviews, I’d say it would be worth it. In one of the reviews, a woman said her nephew said it was “20 times better than Disney!” And let’s be honest, that says A LOT!
About Golden Dog Farm
Of course, we’ve already established the farm is located in Vermont. It’s in a town called Jeffersonville. It’s in the Green Mountains, and owned by the Worple family. They are actually a Maple farm with natural fruits, maple syrup, honey, and Golden Retrievers.
When you go to their website, you’re greeted by a beautiful picture of a sky with the words: “Happiness is Golden. Green Mountains. Golden Dogs. Skies of Every Color.”
Their first and main product they produce is their maple syrup. It’s is organic and single-sourced from sugar wood trees on the farm. They make it all on-site in small batches and never blend or infuse it.
And on the farm, they have a “happy” of Golden Retrievers. The dogs were the inspiration for the farm name. The term “happy” is one they coined to describe a group of Goldens. And I think they couldn’t have come up with a better term!
Address: 1039 Pratt Road, Jefferesonville, Vermont 05464.
Planning A Trip For The Golden Retriever Experience
Now I want to go to Vermont. Although, as someone who doesn’t like the cold, I might have to wait until the Spring. But now that the word is out about this Golden Retriever Experience, you probably want to book way in advance. They look to book up quick. The experience is currently available only on the weekends – Friday through Sunday.
I just checked, and the first available time slot (at the time of writing this) is Sunday, December 17th at 2 p.m. And after Christmas, it looks like they’ll be open from the 26th through January 7th every day!
So, if you’re wanting to enjoy this experience, you definitely want to book early!
Think we could create something like this in the Augusta area?!
