Soap may not be a gift that lasts forever, but it is something that everyone can use and appreciate. Making soap sounds intimidating in itself, but there are a few ways you can make it.

An easier way is by using a premade soap base that you can find at most craft stores. When starting with a pre-made soap base these are the steps you would take:

  • Cut up the soap base into smaller cubes
  • Place 1lb of the cubes into a pitcher
  • Melt those cubes of soap base in the microwave
  • Add a scent and color to your soap
  • Put the soap into a base to then let then the soap start molding

If you want to challenge yourself a bit more, you can do everything from scratch using natural ingredients.

Will you be making soap or something handmade this year for your holiday gifts?
