She is very candid about having bipolar disorder, endometriosis, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). “Chronic illness is a complex mystery,” Halsey said. “If I am or have been MIA please don’t take it personally. I am doing the best I can under difficult circumstances.”
