Powerhouse artists like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Adele all of multiple nominations at this Sunday’s (February 5) Grammy Awards ceremony. Fans can expect some stiff competition, as Adele could become the first artist ever to win all of the main categories three times. Bad Bunny could be the first artist to win Album of the Year with a Spanish-language album. Taylor Swift could win her first Song of the Year trophy after record-breaking 6 nominations in the category.

The 65th annual Grammy Awards will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles at 8 pm ET on CBS and Paramounnt+, hosted by Trevor Noah. Musical performances will be made by current nominees Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras and Sam Smith.

  • Record of the Year

    Adele could become the first songwriter ever to win 3 times for Record of the Year if she wins for “Easy On Me” (She previously won for “Rolling In The Deep” & “Hello”). The British singer-songwriter could join Bruno Mars & Paul Simon as the artist with 3 wins for the song. She could extend her record as the only artist to ever win the big 3 categories [Album, Record and Song of the Year] in one evening on multiple occasions. She won all of her general field nominations in 2012 and 2016 and is nominated for all 3 this year as well. Adele is currently the 4th most-awarded female artist of all time with 15 Grammy wins! Depending on the number of Grammys that she will win this Sunday out of her 7 nominations, she could:

    • break her 4th place tie with Alicia Keys & Cece Winans (1 win needed)
    • tie or surpass Aretha Franklin and become the 3rd most-awarded female artist (3 wins needed for a tie, 4 wins needed for surpassing Aretha Franklin)
    • break her tie with Beyoncé as the most awarded female artist in one night (7 wins needed)
  • Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album

    Adele could join an elite group of artists who have won the Album of the Year trophy 3 times (Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder & Taylor Swift) with her nomination for 30. Adele could also break her tie with Kelly Clarkson (2 wins) and become the sole holder of the record for the most wins in the Best Pop Vocal Album category if she wins her 3rd trophy for 30.

    Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti could become the first Spanish-language album to win the Album of the Tear trophy, which was also the first Spanish-language album to be nominated in the category.

  • Best Pop Solo Performance

    Bad Bunny could become the first artist to win for a Spanish-language song in Best Pop Solo Performance category if he wins for “Moscow Mule.”

  • Song of the Year

    Taylor Swift could win her first Song of the year trophy for “All Too Well” after record-breaking 6 nominations, which makes her the most nominated female songwriter, and one of the 3 most nominated songwriters ever, regardless of gender – together with Lionel Richie and Paul McCartney.

  • First Grammy Award Ever

    ABBA received their first competitive Grammy nomination last year, and this year they received further 4 nominations for their album Voyage and its single “Don’t Shut Me Down.”

  • Best Pop Duo/Group Performance

    Doja Cat could tie Lady Gaga as the artist with the most wins in this category with 2 Grammys. She won last year for her collaboration “Kiss Me More” with SZA, and she is nominated this year for “I Like You (A Happier Song)” with Post Malone.

  • Best Dance Recording

    Diplo could tie Skrillex (3 wins) as the artist with the most wins in the Best Dance Recording category – he is nominated this year for “Don’t Forget My Love” with Miguel.

  • Best Song Written for Visual Media

    Lady Gaga could extend her record as the most awarded female songwriter in this category if she wins her 3rd trophy for co-writing “Hold My Hand.” The song was featured on the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack. She previously won for “Shallow” & “I’ll Never Love Again” from 2018’s A Star Is Born.

  • Best Music Video

    If either Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well” or Adele’s “Easy On Me” win for Best Music Video, they will join the most awarded artist in the category with 2 wins. Adele previously won for “Rolling In The Deep” & Taylor Swift won for “Bad Blood.” Swift could also become the first artist to win with a sole directing credit for her own music video if she wins with the “All Too Well: Short Film.”
