    The Masters - Final Round

Scottie Scheffler of the United States celebrates on the 18th green after winning during the final round of the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club on April 10, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia.

Congratulations to Scottie Scheffler, the 2022 Masters Champion. Read all about it here.

  • 6:50 PM - On To 18

Scottie Scheffler is walking up the 18th fairway. He hit his drive just off the fairway, but his Green Jacket will be coming momentarily.

We’ll have wrapup coverage shortly, including photos and more from the 86th Masters Tournament.

Thanks for joining us all weekend long.

  • 6:30 PM - Scheffler Closing In on Green Jacket

As he walked up the fairway on 16, Scottie Scheffler got a roar from the patrons in the grandstands. Even with that, he didn’t show much in the way of emotion. His calm, cool demeanor has carried him all weekend.

He’s now 12-under, after a birdie on 15. Just a few minutes away from a Green Jacket.

  • 6:05 PM - Scheffler Now Up 4

A birdie for Scottie Scheffler, and he’s now up four shots with four holes left to play.

There are some demons left in those final four holes, but if Scheffler can play them relatively clean, he’s your Masters champion.

  • 5:55 PM - These Are Worth Watching

Yes, these are two different videos. Yes, they are both incredible.

  • 5:50 PM - RORY!

    The Masters - Final Round

Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland reacts after chipping in for birdie from the bunker on the 18th green during the final round of the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club on April 10, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia. (Photo by Gregory Shamus/Getty Images)

Rory McIlroy just finished his round with an 8-under 64, matching the lowest final round in Masters history. The only bogey-free round of the tournament.

And boy was it dramatic. After going bunker to bunker, McIlroy drained his shot from the greenside bunker. And to make it a little better, his playing partner, Collin Morikawa did the same thing! He finishes 4-under, tied for third at the moment.

He finishes 7-under, currently three back of Scheffler, who parred 13 and now has five holes left to play, and a little more pressure.

  • 5:35 PM - The Curse of Golden Bell

    The Masters - Final Round

The 12th hole at Augusta National, Golden Bell, has crushed many a dream over the years.

Cameron Smith just became the latest victim. A triple-bogey 6 has moved him back to third place, 4-under for the tournament.

Scheffler parred the hole and is now four shots ahead of Rory McIlroy.

  • 5:25 PM - Nail Biter Here

Cam Smith with a dramatic birdie on 11 is now back within 3.

Scheffler didn’t flinch though, draining a difficult par putt.

It’s going to come down to these two. Rory doesn’t have enough holes left to make any moves.

And of course as we hit post on this… Smith hit a shot into the water on the par-3 12th. Scheffler is WAY on the left side of the green. But his ball is dry.

  • 5:15 PM - Smith Drops Back

    The Masters - Final Round

A bogey on 10 for Cameron Smith has now put Rory McIlroy into a tie for second at 6-under.

Scottie Scheffler had a bogey as well and is 10-under through 10.

    Can he hold on?

  • 5 PM - On to the Back 9

Just nine holes left to play for our leaders, and Scottie Scheffler still holds a 4-stroke lead.

Cameron Smith is holding pace, four shots back at 7-under.

Rory McIlroy is 7-under on his round and 6-under in third place.

Will Zalatoris has quietly gone 5-under on his round, 3-under overall. He has two holes to play.

  • 4:40 - Lowry Clawing Back

    The Masters - Final Round

Shane Lowry of Ireland plays his shot from the bunker on the fifth hole during the final round of the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club on April 10, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia. (Photo by David Cannon/Getty Images)

Shane Lowry watched most of his chances disappear with a disappointing triple-bogey on the par-3 4th hole.

    Or did he?

Lowry has clawed back with three more birdies (joining his birdie on the second) and closed his front nine a remarkable 1-under.

He’s now 3-under overall, tied for fourth.

Meanwhile, Rory just keeps being Rory. An eagle on 13 has him 7-under on his round, 6-under overall, in solo third.

  • 4:30 PM - Status Quo

    The Masters - Final Round

Things have finally settled down a bit after that wild hour or so there.

Scottie Scheffler leads by four still, at 11-under, with Cameron Smith at 7-under. They are playing the eighth hole currently.

Rory McIlroy and Sungjae Im are tied for third, 4-under on the tournament. Justin Thomas has quietly climbed up to solo fifth, 2-under on his round, 3-under overall.

  • 4 PM - More Rory

    The Masters - Final Round

Apparently Rory wants to be the story today. Another birdie, this one with a lot of noise behind it, and he’s now in third alone, six shots back.

  • 3:45 - Rory Up to Third

Rory McIlroy is surging and trying to get in position for a shot at the title.

He’s 4-under on his round, with four birdies on the first eight holes.

That puts him in a tie for third, seven shots back of Scheffler.

Cam Smith bogeyed the fourth, and the lead is now four shots.

  • 3:30 PM - Shot of The Tournament

Sometimes things just go your way.

Scottie Scheffler was in all sorts of trouble behind the scoreboard on the third hole. After a layup to the fairway, he just needed to chip up and save a par on the hole.

Except the chip rolled right on in (mercifully, because it was gonna be a tough putt for par if it hadn’t). Lead back up to 3, as Smith missed his par putt. Wow.

  • 3:15 PM - Lead Down to 1

    The Masters - Final Round

Cameron Smith has made this a tournament! Back to back birdies to start the round has him just one shot behind Scheffler already.

Rory McIlroy just made a birdie as well, and is now seven shots back.

  • 3:15 PM - Finau's Beautiful Eagle

Tony Finau isn’t going to win this thing, but this eagle on 13 is a thing of beauty.

  • 3:05 PM - Birdies Flying

Just a little bit ago, we had only 7 players under par. We are now up to 10, with one more at even par.

There are red numbers flying rapidly out here.

Min Woo Lee did give one back on 10, so he’s at 1-under now. Rory McIlroy is 2-under through 6 on his round, and 1-under overall. Danny Willett is 1-under on the round and tournament, through 4.

Talor Gooch is having a strong round, with three birdies on his front nine to get back to even par.

This will be tough to keep up with at this pace!

  • 3 PM - Congratulations Tiger

    The Masters - Final Round

We’ve talked so much about how remarkable it is that Tiger Woods is even playing golf.

Arguably the greatest golfer to ever live has finished the 2022 Masters. No, it wasn’t the score he wanted, but that he made it at all is incredible.

He had just one birdie on the card in the final round, to go with five bogeys and a double bogey. He finishes at 13-over for the tournament.

Scottie Scheffler found trouble on the first, but managed to save his par. But Cam Smith drilled a birdie putt. The lead is down to 2 strokes.

  • 2:45 PM - Patrons Are Back

    The Masters - Round One

Paulina Gretzky looks on during the first round of the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club on April 07, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia.

It’s amazing to see patrons back on the course fully at Augusta National. Especially with the huge crowds and roars surrounding Tiger Woods.

We found 34 of the best patrons photos from this week at the Masters. Check them out here.

    • Cameron Smith is three shots back at 6-under and just teed off on 1 as well;
    • Sungjae Im is 4-under and playing the first now;
    • Min Woo Lee is the story of the day so far, 6-under on his round through 9 holes (tying a record with a 30!), now up to fourth place at 2-under;
    • Tiger Woods is 4-over on his round and 11-over for the tournament.

Buckle up folks. We’re in for a wild afternoon in perfect scoring conditions.

It may be asking a lot to get anywhere near Scottie Scheffler or Cameron Smith today, but Australia’s Min Woo Lee is trying to make a case.

Lee is 4-under on his round so far today, playing the eighth currently. He had an eagle on the second, and back-to-back birdies on 6 and 7.

He’s now even-par for the tournament, tied for eighth place.

Scheffler and Smith tee off in 20 minutes.

  • 2:05 PM - Holes to Watch

Earlier, we pointed out the holes that have been the most difficult so far this tournament.

Here’s a look at the holes that are going to make the biggest difference as we prepare for our Top 10 to hit the course.

  • 2 PM - Harry!

Harry Higgs came thissssss close to an Albatross on the par-5 second hole, after he had a double-bogey on the first. You gotta see this.

  • 1 PM - Henley Show

    The Masters - Round Two

Russell Henley plays his shot from the 12th tee during the second round of The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club on April 08, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia. (Photo by Andrew Redington/Getty Images)

Russell Henley has the round of the day so far!

Henley has birdies on 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9 and is a remarkable 5-under on his round, after a front nine 31!

He’s 2-over for the tournament still, as he had a lot of ground to make up, but he’s doing well in making a case for a much bigger paycheck today. He’s currently tied for 14th.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods just finished his front nine with a 38, 2-over on the round, and 9-over on the tournament.

  • 12:10 PM - A Record Buy

    Bay Hill Invitational X

Tiger Woods won the “Tiger Slam” in 2001. (Craig Jones/ALLSPORT)

It seems like a lifetime ago that Tiger Woods won the Tiger Slam, all four major championships consecutively, back in 2000-2001.

But that remarkable golf memory was brought back to the spotlight recently, when the set of irons Tiger used to win those Majors were sold at auction for… $5,156,162!

A Houston man, who bought the clubs in 2010 for just $57,242, sold them recently, after saying he wanted them to be able to be sign outside of his own home.

    The Masters - Final Round

Augusta giveth, Augusta taketh away. Tiger Woods gave his birdie right back on 4 with a bogey. Such is the life of Funday Sunday at the Masters.

Austria’s Sepp Straka with the strongest start of the day so far. He’s got birdies on 1 and 2, and is now 4-over for the tournament.

  • 11:20 - A Couple More Birdies

It’s worth noting that, many of the holes you’d expect to be super challenging, haven’t exactly been like normal.

  • 11 AM - Early Action

    The Masters - Final Round

Tiger Woods follows his shot on the first hole during the final round of the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club on April 10, 2022 in Augusta, Georgia. (Photo by Jamie Squire/Getty Images)

There are 10 golfers on the course currently, and there’s not a whole lot going on with any of them.

There are no birdies yet… correction, Billy Horschel just got the first of the day at 3 as we were typing.

There are a couple of bogeys – one each from Mackenzie Hughes and Cameron Davis. Tiger will have a long birdie putt on 1, but is likely looking at a par there. (He did in fact get the par.)

His playing partner Jon Rahm with a messy start, getting a bogey on the first after missing a fairly straight putt for par.

  • 10:50 AM - Tiger's Day Begins

We’ve talked about this a lot this weekend, but the fact that Tiger Woods is playing the Masters right now is simply remarkable.

After his accident in February of 2021 had many wondering if he would ever WALK again, let alone play golf, it’s been a joy to see the most popular golfer of all time playing at Augusta National.

It also says something about Woods that despite playing zero competitive golf in the time since the accident and now, that he still managed to be in contention for at least a little while this week.

Woods stands at 7-over par as he begins his final day. That comes from a 71-74-78 first three days. And he’s got his signature red on today.

His final round started with a giant roar from the crowd at the tee, and a drive into the second cut to the left of the first fairway. What a moment.

  • 10:15 AM - Where Things Stand

We are just moments away from our first pairing – Adam Scott and Cameron Davis – hitting the first tee at 10:20 a.m., so let’s take a look at where things stand.

The pin locations today are the classic Sunday locations at the Masters. That means opportunities for scoring, as long as the weather conditions cooperate. Two straight windy days has these greens firm and ready to be torturous though.

Seven players enter the final round under par, with Scottie Scheffler holding a three-shot lead at 9-under, after rounds of 69-67-71.

Cameron Smith will be in the final pairing with Scheffler. He’s three shots back at 6-under, after rounds of 68-74-68.

Sungjae Im sits at 4-under, Shane Lowry is at 2-under, Charl Schwartzel is at 2-under, Dustin Thomas is at 1-under, and Corey Conners is also at 1-under.

It’s a good bet that your winner will likely from one of these names.

As for Tiger Woods, he’s tied for 41st, with a 10:50 a.m. tee time with Jon Rahm. Woods is 7-over, after rounds of 71-74-78.

    Let’s get ready to play!
