Sometimes it can get a bit overwhelming figuring out what to do, how to stay hydrated and away from the heat, while still getting in a bit of sunshine.

Dr. Factenstein's Karaoke and Trivia
August 11 - 7:00pm
Sing some of your favorite songs, while also keeping your mind sharp. Trivia and Karaoke will be going on at Elks Lodge.

August 12 - 10am - 2pm
Dog On It Festival will have activities available for kids, adults, and friendly pups including:
🐐 Pet-a-Goat Yoga will be held from 10am-11am, registration is required at www.BarnyardBuddies.com The cost is $25 per person.
🐐 Petting Zoo with Barnyard Buddies will be from 10am-2pm and is $8 per person. It will feature rabbits, pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, and special guest Foggy the donkey!
🩸 Those who donate blood to the Shepherd Community Blood Center will receive a voucher for a FREE nail trim in our salon!
🐶 Enrichment stations will be set up for dogs to explore and experience different kinds of activities and mental stimulation! If you're struggling with keeping your dog occupied indoors during the heat of the summer we can help with that!

9th Annual Augusta Beerfest
August 12 - 3PM - 6PM
Beer enthusiasts, local brew masters, and brewers from all over the region get ready! Augusta Beerfest No. 9 will host over 100 beers from some of the best breweries in the country all at the James Brown Arena.
Fort Gordon MWR Sports Color Run
August 12 - 8:30am
Get your run on this weekend, while being decorated with all the colors. MWR sport complex will be have a 5k Color Run. To register: TINY.CC/RUNSERIES
CSRA School's In Extravaganza
August 13 - 12pm - 4pm
Family fun event - those who attend bring classroom supplies! Those without school supplies will pay $5/person or $15 for the entire family.
There will be attractions for the kids such as Inflatables, face painting, miniature carnival games and more.
There will also be Food trucks, vendors, drink stations (non-alcoholic), prize raffles and more.
Raffle Prizes:
- 3 lucky winners will receive the trade school scholarships
- 4 lucky kids will receive free hairstyles (cuts, braids or something of their choice)
- 3 Mom’s will receive free admission to a Mom’s Night Out Event
aiken music fest
August 12 - 6pm
A 6 event music series to celebrate local music in Aiken, SC will be happening this weekend, at Highfields Event Center, with food and snack vendors. Beer sales will go to non-profits.
