Each weekend is like a fresh start to exploring new things to do in Augusta – but there’s nothing wrong with a weekend routine. Like ending the week with a GreenJackets game and starting the next morning with a walk at the river.

If you want to switch it up a bit, we’ve listed a few things to do in Augusta this weekend just for you.

  • Food Truck Family Friday

    July 21 5 PM – 9 PM

    Mayor Garnett L. Johnson “Food Truck Family Friday” There will be food from local food trucks, music, and a chance spend some time with family, friends, and the community.

  • Fort Gordon Back to School Bash

    July 21 11am-4pm

    Get your bowl on while also getting some free school supplies.

  • Live Music at Grantski Records!

    July 21 8pm

    The show will feature Novumora, Sunbreak Band, and Estimated Principles.

  • Movies on the Green 2023

    July 21 7:30pm

    Movie: League of Superpets

    Check out a free movie at the Augusta Commons. Inflatables, Games, Face Painting, and Food Vendors will be available starting at 7:30pm. The movie will begin at dusk. You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

  • Pollinator Party

    Jul 22 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

    Come celebrate with the butterflies, bees, and birds of Mistletoe State Park! Join us as we learn about pollinators and their impact on the environment! Enjoy a presentation, take a short hike, visit our nature center, and then create a bird feeder to take home.
