Kelly Clarkson Got Emotional When Garth Brooks Performed ‘The Dance’
Garth Brooks went on The Kelly Clarkson Show to perform his song “The Dance” and Clarkson became so emotional that Brooks stopped the song. Kelly told Garth that his song has been a source of comfort for her lately.
She said, “I’m going through a divorce and there’s been a lot of books, and people give you stuff to help [but] there’s shame and guilt, and I was working through it. I couldn’t quite nail down the feeling. So I was listening to my playlist and ‘The Dance’ came on. “I was like, ‘No, that’s the thing. That’s it.'”
