Taylor Swift’s Publicist Slams Joe Alwyn Marriage Rumors

Taylor Swift's longtime publicist, Tree Paine, slammed celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi for posting that the pop superstar secretly marryied her ex, [inlink id="taylor-swift-joe-alwyn-reportedly-split-after-6-years-of-dating" text="Joe Alwyn"] a few years ago. Paine, who has been representing Swift since 2014, posted a message on X Thursday (November 30) night. She posted a screenshot of Deuxmoi's Instagram Stories in which they claim Swift and her ex had a ceremony in the UK in 2020 or 2021. Though they said the "marriage" was unofficial, multiple anonymous sources described it as a marriage. Additionally, the celebrity gossip account claims: "I have no reason to lie, I could give a s--- what she does!!!!!" [inlink id="taylor-swift-fans-sick-of-romance-rumors" text="RELATED: Taylor Swift Fans Are Sick Of All The ‘New Romance’ Rumors"] Deuxmoi often posts unconfirmed reports about Hollywood, from sightings to rumors. Even their Instagram bio reads: "Some statements made on this account have not been independently confirmed. this account does not claim information published is based in fact." As with many gossip sites, their reports are often accurate, but not always. In the Story that Tree called out, it is a part of Deuxmoi's "You've Got F---ing Mail" series, where emails are opened and posted. Per In The Know, Deuxmoi is allegedly run by two socialites: Meggie Kempner and Melissa Lovallo. Journalist Brian Feldman revealed in his Substack: “DeuxMoi has chosen to tie their individual identity to their increasingly public line of work." Apparently Lovallo is the only one running it now. Do Not, Deuxmoi "Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi," Paine wrote. "There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind. This is an insane thing to post. It’s time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these." One Swiftie replied, "THIS is what we call premium PR! Get em Treemotherrrr." Another said: "BURNING THEM DOWN, THANK YOU TREE!" Responding to Tree's post on X, Deuxmoi posted to their Stories quoting Tree's choice of words about "pain and trauma." Dexumoi says they are "very strong words" and claims Tree and Taylor are "livid. The tabloid then questions, "Of all things, why are they so angry about this particular claim that they felt the need to respond? [pondering emoji]." Adding to Swift's publicist responding to the marriage rumors to Alwyn, another person sent in an email to Deuxmoi guessing that the reason Tree shut it down is because they believe Taylor and [inlink id="travis-kelce-taylor-swift" text="Travis Kelce"] will announce an engagement soon or there is "some other evidence" or leak that will be coming out.
