CSRA News: Month-Long Road Project in South Augusta
Work is set to begin today on a month-long project at the intersection of Peach Orchard Road and Lumpkin Road in south Augusta.
The project includes concrete demolition and the replacement of the curb, gutter and median, to extend the northbound Peach Orchard Road left turn lane that travels onto Lumpkin Road. One lane on either side of the median will be closed for traffic while the work is being done. Keep in mind the speed limit will be lowered in the work zone. The project should be completed by mid-May.
Thanks to Mary Liz Nolan of WGAC for the story.
