CSRA News: Vigil in Thomson for Shooting Victims in Texas
A vigil will be held this evening to mourn the loss of life in last week’s school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
The Thomson Police Department and McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office are joining to stage the event set to begin at 6:30 p.m. today at the government complex on Railroad Street in Thomson. The vigil is being called A Collective Action Against Violence.

“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta. She’s a Georgia native but currently resides just across the river in South Carolina.
