Multiple Men Sought for Car Wash Robbery in Richmond County
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for three men for questioning in connection with a Robbery by Sudden Snatch that was reported September 8 at the Washing Well car wash at 2419 Peach Orchard Road.
The female victim told investigators two black males snatched her purse from her and took off. She said as she chased them, one of the suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at her. The woman said she got into her car and started looking for them. They were spotted in a neighborhood on Bream Street near Shark Drive.
The victim said she had $300 in $1 bills in her purse, as well as a bank debit card.
Three men are captured on surveillance video that investigators say they want to question. All three are black. One is wearing a white tank top, dark shorts and dark tennis shoes. Another is wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts and a baseball cap. The third was also wearing a white t-shirt, a ball cap and had a dark sweatshirt or jacket draped over his shoulder.
Richmond County investigators say the three are known to frequent the State House Gas Station on Peach Orchard Road and the 2400 block of Bream Avenue.
