Megan Thee Stallion fans might just have a taste of what’s coming with Act Two of her album Megan. In her latest Instagram post, she treated followers to a carousel of videos flaunting her custom Johnny Dang & Co. diamond grill, and one of those clips featured a 28-second snippet of an unreleased track.
In the untitled song, she confidently raps, “Aye, I’m at the top of my game, I’m who they hate, this s— come with the fame, that’s how I knew that I made it/ I woke up looking this good, I’m in my prime, these n—– gotta get played/ If these b—— ain’t mad I need to go harder, I can’t let ‘em think we the same/ — sitting up like a horse’s, pretty like a portrait, mouth full of diamonds and porcelain, b—- I know I’m gorgeous/ Little bitty waist, big t—–s, I don’t need no corset, rich off these endorsements, y’all h— lazy always worryin’ ‘bout a boyfriend.”
In the caption, she teased, “Almost done working, Hotties. Yep Act II about to be [fire].” A third fan reminisced, “This brings me back to the ‘Tina Snow’ album era!!!!!! TINA SNOW is backkkk but she never really left.”
Earlier this month, Megan surprised her followers with a sneak peek of the butterfly-themed installment of Megan. She shared a short video where she donned butterfly wings, captioning it, “Stay tuned hotties,” followed by three butterfly emojis. At the end of the clip, the upcoming project was revealed: Megan: Act Two.
Megan has been busy transforming over the past year. She became an independent artist after parting ways with 1501 Certified Entertainment, headlined her first summer arena tour, and kicked off a new musical chapter. “I really wanted to show the rebirth of Megan and set that tone with the song and the video,” she shared after the rollout of her single “Cobra.” Since then, she’s dropped “Mamushi,” which sparked a viral TikTok dance, and most recently, “Neva Play” featuring BTS’ RM.
Let’s not overlook how Megan Thee Stallion absolutely slayed as the host of this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. She kicked off the evening in a one-shoulder leotard, reminiscent of something an Olympic gymnast might wear. She gave a playful nod to gold medalist Simone Biles, joking that she borrowed the outfit from her and made a few tweaks. “I deserve a gold medal for being a bad b—-,” the rapper quipped.
The VMAs celebrated 40 years of the iconic award show, reflecting on unforgettable moments from the past. The rapper chose to pay tribute herself, making a grand entrance with a real snake in homage to Britney Spears’ legendary 2001 performance. To top it off, she donned Spears’ instantly recognizable outfit.
