The scoring average is up near 75 today. That means things are not easy for anyone.

Except Scottie Scheffler anyway. He did give a shot back on 4, but his third birdie of the day on the sixth has him at 10-under.

Shane Lowry is five back of Scheffler, also 2-under on his round. Cameron Smith is also 2-under today, and is 4-under on the tournament.

Tiger Woods just had back to back birdies on 12 and 13, and he’s 3-over on the tournament, 2-over today.

  • 3:20 PM - Lowry And Schwartzel In Second

Welcome to the top Shane Lowry and Charl Schwartzel!

With a birdie on the second hole for both, they are now 4-under on the tournament and in second place.

Problem is, Scottie Scheffler just birdied that hole too, and he’s now 9-under, five strokes clear of second.

  • 3:05 PM - Kokrak Climbing The Leaderboard

We haven’t mentioned his name much, but Jason Kokrak is quietly having the best day on the course, and is now in the top 10.

Kokrak has three birdies on his back 9 and is now 1-under for the tournament, 3-under for the day. He’s still 7 shots back of Scottie Scheffler, who parred his first.

Tiger’s troubles are continuing. He’s now 3-over on his day and 4-over on the tournament, after a bogey to close out his front 9.

  • 2:50 PM - Scheffler Tees Off

The final pairing is on the course, as tournament leader Scottie Scheffler just teed off in his third round.

Here’s where we stand on a chilly, windy afternoon at Augusta National:

    • Scottie Scheffler, -8 (Just teed off)
    • Cameron Smith, -3 (2)
    • Dustin Johnson, -3 (2)
    • Charl Schwartzel, -3 (On first)
    • Sungjae Im, -3 (On first)
    • Shane Lowry, -3 (On first)
    • Justin Thomas, -2 (5)
    • Danny Willett, -2 (4)
    • Collin Morikawa, -2 (3)
    • Corey Conners, -2 (2)
    • Kevin Na, -2 (2)
    • Hideki Matsuyama, -2 (1)
    • Tiger Woods is 3-over through 7, and Tommy Fleetwood has the best round of the day at 3-under on his round and even par for his tournament.
  • 2:05 PM - Disaster On 5

The fifth hole has been one of the most difficult on the course, and Tiger Woods saw just how nasty it can be.

He had a birdie putt from 65 feet that came up well short. And he ended up with a four-putt double bogey. He’s now 3-over for the tournament.

We’re still 45 minutes away from our final pairing teeing off.

  • 1:35 PM - Viktor Hovland Going Wild

Viktor Hovland is having the most fun-filled round on the day at Augusta National.

The fourth-ranked golfer in the world is 2-under on his round today, bringing him back to 2-over par overall.

But it’s how he got there that’s wild. A bogey-birdie start left him even for the day. Four pars followed that. Then…

    Bogey-birdie-bogey-birdie-birdie-par-birdie.

And he’s in good position on 14.

Oh, and on Tiger watch, he parred the third hole, and is even on his round.

  • 1:25 PM - Trouble For Tiger

A little bit of trouble for Tiger Woods on the first led to a bogey.

But as we type this, he just nearly holed out a shot from the sand on 2 for an Eagle. He’ll have a birdie there, and is back to even on the day.

Tiger’s playing partner today, Kevin Kisner, also birdied the second hole and is also 1-over for the tournament.

  • 1 PM - Tiger On The Course

Tiger watch can now officially begin. The five-time Masters champion is on the first hole.

He hit a beautiful drive down the middle of the fair, with 176 yards left to the hole. In his career, Tiger is 46-under in the third round of the Masters. By far the best in history.

Officially welcome to the weekend everyone. Buckle up, this is gonna be fun.

  • 12:45 PM - Scores To Be Had?

After difficult scoring conditions yesterday, could Augusta National be playing a little bit nicer today?

For Marc Leishman, that answer is yes. He’s got the round of the day so far, shooting 2-under on his front nine with two birdies on 2 and 8.

He’s tied for 26th currently, and 2-over for the tournament.

Eight golfers have red numbers on their round so far today.

  • 11 AM - Our First Saturday Birdie

Mackenzie Hughes has the first birdie on the day. The Canadian in his third Masters, took advantage of the par-5 second hole, chipping his third shot close and tapping in for the birdie. He’s now 3-over for the tournament.

  • 10:45 AM - That's A Lot Of Money

The prize money has been announced for this year’s tournament. The total pool is $15,000,000, with the winner taking home $2.7 million.

    That’s up from $11.5 million in 2021.

  • 10:20 AM - And Away We Go

Moving day is underway at the 2022 Masters.

Mackenzie Hughes started the round with a perfect drive just left of the fairway bunkers on 1. He’ll have 171 to the hole.

Adam Scott put a beautiful opening drive in the center of the fairway, with just 154 yards to the first hole pin.

  • 10 AM - Good Beautiful Morning!

It’s Saturday morning, and the field is set for a beautiful – albeit chilly – Masters weekend.

Our first group hits the tee at 10:20 a.m., with Mackenzie Hughes and Adam Scott set to tee off.

Our leader Scottie Scheffler will tee off at 2:50 p.m., with Charl Schwartzel.

And of course Tiger Woods… he tees off at 1 p.m. with Kevin Kisner.

    Let’s get this day started!
