Simone Biles Announces Engagement To Jonathan Owens
Simone Biles is an engaged woman!
The Olympian announced her engagement to boyfriend Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens on Instagram Tuesday (Feb. 15) after he popped the question on Valentine’s Day.
In a sweet message the gymnast penned, “THE EASIEST YES,” adding, “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ 💍🥺🥲🤎 @jowens_3.”
The Houston Texans player shared the same photos of him proposing captioning them, “Woke up this morning with a fiancée 💍❤️,” adding that the gymnast was completely shocked when he got down on one knee. “Appreciate my dawg @don_julio314 for helping me set everything up, she really had no clue what was coming 😂 @zofrost you went crazy on this one bro really made the night special 🙌🏽.”
Biles and Owens began dating in 2020 and have been seen supporting each other in their respective sports ever since.
