Krispy Kreme Ice Cream
Check out this delicious news! If you love Krispy Kreme donuts, this sounds like the perfect treat just in time for summer! According to Food & Wine, Krispy Kreme launches a new original glazed soft serve ice cream.
Yes, it’s the Krispy Kreme famous glazed donuts in ice cream form. This sweet treat is being rolled out in 10 U.S. cities this week, which includes San Antonio, Texas and Nashville, prior to it being sold nationwide. The closest locations to us: Greenville, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina.
The “Original Glazed Soft Serve Ice Cream” will come in cones, cups or even milkshakes. You will also be able to mix in toppings too. The ice cream is being created with Krispy Kreme’s proprietary and secret Original Glazed Doughnut recipe. This will include the iconic glaze flavor and real whole milk.
The waffle cones will be made with their classic doughnut mix and glaze flavor. As for ice cream flavors, you can get the plain Original Glazed, Strawberry Iced Sprinkled or Chocolate Iced.
As for the milkshakes, you’ll have even more options with seven flavors, included the three ice cream flavors, in addition to Lemon Filled, Cookies & Kreme, Birthday Batter, and Coffee & Kreme.
This isn’t the first time Krispy Kreme has rolled out exciting limited time treats. From collaborating with other brands, and offering seasonal products for Halloween, Christmas and more, the brand definitely stays busy. It has to be tough to continually come up with variations on their delicious classics though.
While there are only 10 cities rolling out the ice cream to begin with, they are planning to expand to other markets, though no official date on those yet.
