Suspicious Death Under Investigation in Richmond County
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the suspicious death of a woman.
Deputies were called to the Azalea Park Apartment complex off Fayetteville Drive at 2:00 this afternoon. That’s where the body of 57 year old Tammy Mantooth of Lola, Kansas was found in the back of an SUV in the parking lot. Authorities say she was here visiting relatives.
Coroner Mark Bowen says the cause of Mantooth’s death is suspicious. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of her death.
