The Sunday Market On The 5th Street Marina of Downtown Augusta Is Back!
Looks like the Sunday Market on the River is back! That’s right, not only does Downtown Augusta have the Augusta Market on the Riverwalk, which takes place on Saturdays, but there is another market that takes place down the rive on Sundays! Sunday Market on the 5th Street Marina is another family fun activity each weekend.
Like most markets, they take a break throughout the year, sometimes it will be through the winter months, and gear back up from the spring and summer months.
The 5th Street Marina last ended its previous market season on May 14 and is now back for the community. They kicked off the market this past weekend on Sunday, October 29. Usually, they would continue the following week once started back up but, they will take a break due to a festival happening on November 5 and 6. The festival that will be held is the Foodie Festival.
The Sunday market will then start back up as the “Holiday Market” on Sunday, November 12. From here the Sunday market will go every Sunday until Christmas Eve before its next season break.
The Sunday market happens 12 pm – 4 pm. There are a variety of vendors that sell all types of items -from health and beauty, jewelry, gemstones, soaps and self-care items, wood items, food, small gifts, wreaths, and more!
They will even have live music going on wih Ms. Jo Nash and Friends, singing and playing jazz and holiday favorites.
Again, the 5th Street Marina Market is located on the 5th Street Marina in front of the Riverwalk Gift Shop in Downtown Augusta.
