Where You Can Get A Peach Ice Cream Sandwich Off The Course
The Masters is known for more than just Golf. They are also known for the Azalea flowers that bloom on the course. They’re known for their annual, but hard-to-get garden gnomes. One of the main things they are also known for is the food!
There are the Pimento Cheese Sandwiches and the Egg Salad Sandwiches, but have you heard about their popular dessert, the Peach Ice Cream Sandwiches?
The Peach Ice Cream Sandwich made its way back to the concession stands at the 2023 Masters. Now, going into the 88th Masters for 2024 it seems like sandwich is here to stay.
When it made its return in 2023 the sandwich cost $2.50, but this year it is being sold at $3. Could that be because of the bad year that the Georgia peach harvest endured?
The Augusta National sweet treat, Peach Ice Cream is sandwiched in between 2 freshly baked sugar cookies. If you want to get a similar taste of the famous Masters Peach Ice Cream Sandwich this year, but off the course, here are your alternatives for the week.
Where To Get Peach Ice Cream Sandwiches In Augusta?
Wife Savers (Furys Ferry Location)
Last year Wife Savers jumped in to save the day when the community thought it would be another year without Peach Ice Cream sandwiches at the Masters. They then decided to sell their rendition of the well-known treat. The ice cream sandwiches did in fact make a return that year, but that didn’t affect the success of Wife Saver’s Peach Ice Cream sandwhiches. Wife Saver made almost 5,000 ice cream sandwiches and sold out of every single one.
Back again for round 2 this year, Wife Saver, located on Furys Ferry Road, released their Peach Ice Cream Sandwiches on March 18th. They are being sold for $4.59. Get ’em while you can!
Whipped Creamery
Whipped Creamery isn’t serving up Peach Ice Cream Sandwiches, instead, they are serving up “Peach Burgers” as they are calling them.
They have 2 storefront locations that will be serving up these popular treats.
#1: 514 Oxbow Dr. Grovetown GA
#2: 353 Furys Ferry Rd, Martinez, GA.
Drinks You Can Only Get During Masters Week In The CSRA
You know what I love about Golf Week? It’s the Masters specialty drinks and food menus. Local restaurants pull out some awesome tricks and treats for the locals and travelers to try.

In Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, about five hours away from Augusta, Drunken Jack’s Restaurant and Lounge will honor the Masters with two special drinks! One is called Tee Time and the other is the Sweet and Spicy Watermelon Margarita. They will create the drinks with Elijah Craig Bourbon and Maestro Dobel Tequila.
Even further from Augusta is Rockfish in Edgartown, Massechesuts. They also have two special cocktails dedicated to this special week.
Azalea Cocktail: Empress Rose Gin, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and a splash of grenadine garnished with baby’s breath
The Azalea is actually the signature cocktail of the Masters golf tournament. Many places will be serving their version of this drink around the nation.
Another specialty drink that will be on the menu is the John Daly, named after an American professional golfer.
John Daly: Tito’s Vodka, house-made lemonade, iced tea garnished with fresh mint
All over the nation this week restaurants, lounges, and more will be finding ways to incorporate and bring the Masters into their establishments. Wether that is by having a watch party or creating special menus such as these.
Enough about those out-of-town spots, we’ve got the Masters right here at home, let’s see how some of the local spots are getting down with their specialty drinks for this week.
