Eva Mendes Won’t Attend Any Red Carpets With Ryan Gosling
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling attend "The Place Beyond The Pines" premiere during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival at Princess of Wales Theatre on September 7, 2012 in Toronto, Canada.
Eva Mendes isn’t hitting any red carpets with her beau of over 12 years, Ryan Gosling. Though the actor will be attending his upcoming Barbie movie premiere this summer, the actress expressed why she won’t be in attendance.
Last week, Mendes, 49, posted a clip of her and Gosling from 2012’s The Place Beyond The Pines. She wrote in her caption: “Magic is Real. We did not meet on set. The magic started way before but here’s a little magic captured on camera.”
Most fans seemed to support their relationship. But there were some comments telling Eva they wanted to see her next to her man in public again. One person wrote, “Eva, I want to be honest w u, but I really hope Barbie will get through the Awards Season just to see you w Ryan. I know, I’m a selfish and probably I dreamer, but I will never stop to dream about it!!”
In response, Eva told the fan, “you’re the best ! What a cool comment, thank you. But we don’t do those things together. Like these photos I’ve been posting, Im only comfortable posting because it’s already out there.” She added that they “only were on the red carpet together once when promoting this film.”
Another fan asked why she doesn’t feel “comfortable doing those things together” because they are “such a beautiful couple.” Responding to the fan, Mendes commented, “Ayy thank you! By ‘not comfortable,’ I mean exposing our very private life that we value. I’m still dying to do another movie with him though…”
