Is it just me or is there a new pumpkin food or drink item available every week this time of the year? If you’re a pumpkin spice lover, you’re going to want to give this cool new treat a try! There’s a new player in the pumpkin spice world and this one I’m not sure if I can feel this one.
Don’t get me wrong, I love pumpkin pie and that’s about where it ends for me. Now, I know there are tons of you who just love pumpkin spice in your coffee, tea, and lattes. But in your Frosty? Yes, I said in your Frosty.
Wendy’s is the latest to join the pumpkin spice craze and is about to introduce a pumpkin spice-flavored Frosty to its menus for a limited time beginning September 12. I believe Starbucks was one of the first to introduce the world to the pumpkin spice and from there it has taken a life of its own.
What Other Items Have Joined The Pumpkin Spice Bandwagon?

- Kind Protein Bars
- Cream cheese

I’m taking a hard pass on all of the above. Just sayin’. Did you know the U.S. sales of pumpkin-flavored products this year have already reached sales of over $800 million dollars and this is just through the end of July?
Back to Wendy’s for just a moment. It personally took me a long time to be able to order a Vanilla Frosty. I can do it now without feeling like I’m cheating on the old faithful. It even took me a while to be able to dip my fries in my chocolate Frosty and now I do. I just can’t see me dipping my fries in a pumpkin spice frosty. Nope, don’t see it happening.
Now if you are a lover of all things pumpkin spice, go for it and please let me know how it is. This one is hard for me.
