In recent years, when it comes to the job market, there has been many ups and downs.  According to LinkedIn, Georgia’s job market is still pretty strong, despite our current economy.  In fact, Georgia is one state that made a decent comeback after so many jobs were lost during the pandemic.  Also, analysts at UGA feel Georgia is expected to avoid the worst of the looming recession. So, if a new job is something you’re in the market for, let’s take a look at the highest paying jobs in the state.

Georgia: Highest Paying Jobs

Indeed.com has compiled a list of the 100 highest-paying jobs in Georgia.  As a popular site for job seekers and employers, Indeed is a reliable source when it comes to employment information.

According to the Indeed.com article: “If you’re looking for a new job in Georgia, there are many opportunities available depending on your particular industry and interests. While your earning potential will vary based on the position, company and your level of experience, Georgia offers many good-paying opportunities.”

When it comes to the top 10 highest paying jobs in Georgia, most do require an advanced degree. And many of these opportunities in the medical field.  But even if these aren’t a fit for you, there are many more jobs that pay well in Georgia.  You can see the full list HERE.

  • 10. Sales Engineer

    According to Indeed.com, a sales engineer’s average yearly salary is $130,418. This job is an engineering professional who specializes in sales.  They often act as consultants for their organization and make buying or selling decisions based on technical aspects of a product. Often, they work in B2B businesses assisting sales professionals.

    The average yearly salary for an enterprise architect in Georgia is $137,065. This is an IT position that helps companies achieve their business strategy using the most effective technology systems architecture.

    The average yearly salary for a physician in Georgia is $196,567. Physicians diagnose, treat, and prevent disease, illnesses, and injuries.  They can also go into highly specialized fields like obstetricians, gynecologists, general practitioners, and surgeons.
