Whether you’re in Augusta, Kentucky, or Augusta, Georgia we’ve got some local events to make you feel like you’re in the stands of the Kentucky Derby. Here is a list of Kentucky Derby events in Augusta that are taking place on Saturday, May 6.

• 2023 Derby Day

  Saturday, May 6, from 4 – 8 pm at the RecTeq field, a Kentucky Derby celebration will be going down. You can cheer on the worlds top thoroughbred as they race to the finish line. The event will also feature live music with the Unmentionables, barbeque from Chef John of RecTeq and food from Jamie Dukes of Wife Saver, mint juleps, a full bar provided by Bill Hausman of United Distributors, and AB Beverage. There will even be fashion and hat contests, raffles, and plenty of items to purchase handmade by our special artisans. Find out more here.

• 3rd Annual Pinnacle Club Derby Day Party

  Get dressed in your best Derby attire as the Pinnacle Club will be broadcasting the races live at 3pm. There will be contests, refreshments, and drinks. For more information, click here.

• Top Dawg Tavern Watch Party

  Hang out at Top Dawg Tavern to watch the 149th running of your favorite horses as they run for the roses. There will also be $8 Mint Juleps made with Woodford Reserve! Live music will follow the race.
