Halloween is a month away and the Augusta area has several recently vacant spots perfect for a certain Halloween store. The orange banners have started popping up around the CSRA indicating a Spirit Halloween will soon be there.

One of those spots is the former location of Buy Buy Baby. If you are familiar with the Augusta area, Buy Buy Baby is one of the many businesses to leave Robert C. Daniel Parkway. Buy Buy Baby closed at the end of July and just a little over a month later it is prepping to be a Spirit Halloween store.

Spirit Halloween is a seasonal retailer that sells costumes, decorations, and just about anything else somebody might need for Halloween.

Spirit Halloween was founded in 1983 by Joseph Marver as a pop-up store in the Castro Valley Mall in San Francisco, California.

Now Spirit Halloween stores are everywhere. They appear seemingly overnight, taking over vacant buildings, and then they disappear. Then the cycle happens again for the next year.

The tentative opening date for this Spirit Halloween is September 19.

There is also a location coming to the former Sears location of the Augusta Mall. Along with the former Aiken Furniture store in Aiken.
