Augusta Regional Airport Has A Few Ways They Plan To Spread Some Holiday Cheer This December
Taking a flight to or from the Augusta Regional Airport this December? Well, be prepared for the sound and sights of some holiday cheer!
Starting Thursday, December 15th, the holiday festivities will kick off with the airport being filled with local talent to spread the holiday spirit.
All Augusta arrivals can expect holiday-spirit greetings with performers in the baggage claim area performing for those coming into town. Typically, performers would be located in the gate area, but Augusta Regional Airport is making some big changes with the renovation of Gates 3 & 4 under their Advancing. Growing. Stronger Campaign.
Who Will Be Performing At The Airport?
This year’s performers will be John Hobbs, Fred Williams, Adam Thompson Harris, Matthew Dahlheimer, Bill Karp, and Josephine Johnson.
But the holiday cheer doesn’t stop there. Santa Claus is coming to the airport. Santa will be making an appearance on December 20th, 21st, and 22nd. He will be located in the main foyer of the terminal building from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to greet everyone.
More Events To Come With The Augusta Regional Airport:
Winning roundtrip tickets sounds like it could only be a Christmas miracle! Well, you have the chance this holiday season to make that miracle come true. The airport will be conducting its third annual sweepstakes, where people just like you will get the chance to win two free roundtrip tickets on American Airlines from Augusta to Washington D.C. (DCA). The best thing about this sweepstakes is you don’t even have to leave your bed to apply. The sweepstakes requires those who want to register to apply online.
The winner will be randomly selected on December 21, 2023, and will have until June 2024 to use the tickets.
Even in the busiest places like the airport, there’s still a chance for you to take a moment to indulge in the holiday spirit.
